FiELD Kallop
Field Kallop’s meditative Works are influenced by a number of artistic traditions- including both tantra drawing and textile practices, as well as her interest in math and science. Kallop applies countless layers of thinned paint that overlap and blend together, generating a vibrant and luminous palette. Her delicate scrims of color, along with her intricate brushwork, further enhance these mesmerizing pictorial spaces. Melding clean lines, color arrangements, and geometric precision, Kallop creates optically compelling visual effects.
Field Kallop (B. 1982, New York City) graduated from the Art History Advanced Studies Program at La Sorbonne in Paris.
